This particular Lure restaurant is attached to a large shopping mall, which means free parking and mall crowds. The restaurant is very nice, laid out in a sort of "u" shape, where one side was more for a happy bar with TV screens, while the other was more typical family dining. We got there about 5pm, but as time passed and the place began to fill up, the noise level got conspicuously louder. We noticed people at neighboring tables struggling to carry on conversations. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She definitely made our visit there better. We had two delicious appetizers. The Veracruz fish chowder was bold in flavor, chunky, and very good. The Spicy Seafood Ceviche was barely spicy, but tasty and good (needed a little more lime/lemon). My wife was very appreciative of all the gluten free choices. The fresh catch of the day section of the menu was all gluten free! She had the halibut, which was definitely fresh, but a bit overcooked and dry. I had the swordfish, which was cooked to perfection, but they played it a bit too safe and delivered it a bit bland (I don't care to add tartar sauce). The side dishes were tasty, but a bit small in portion size (e.g., only 4 stalks of asparagus). For dessert, she had the flourless chocolate cake, which is truly the best we've had. I got the key lime pie, which was disappointingly more sweet than tart. Overall, it was a nice restaurant that offered some definite highs, but a few unexpected misses as well.

This is definitely the place to have a quiet, calm and romantic evening. The indoor decor is stunning and it feels as if you're vacationing on an island. Our server Juliette was attentive, friendly and brought out our drinks. I ordered the Veracruz clam chowder and it was full of flavor. I decided to substitute the clams for shrimp on my entree, absolutely delicious. After we'd savored our meal we decided to get some dessert. Their cheesecake (made in house) was so rich and creamy, I'd never tasted a cheesecake as good as this one. We did stay a little after their closing hours, finishing up our meal and the staff was so polite. Definitely coming back!

Just made it to Happy Hour. We were able to enjoy discounted drinks and a variety of shareable dishes: calamari, sliders, oysters, also clam chowder soup, shrimp cocktails and more. Great customer service and delicious food. 2024(24)

Overall good restaurant. We ordered more that wasn't pictured. We also didn't have to wait to get seated. Something we need when traveling with kids.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. When I first arrived, I was worried because it was in a shopping mall and I wondered how good could the seafood be in this location. I was happy to find out quite excellent. The White Sea bass with lemon caper sauce was so good. Perfectly cooked and not fishy at all. My husband got the seared ahi tuna and it was also cooked perfectly and tasted great. The ceviche was a little wet for my liking and not spicy like it described but it was still fresh and light. I also really enjoyed the potato pancake and pineapple coleslaw but I would skip the sweet potatoes fries and the rice as they were just okay and there were way better options. The new cheddar bacon biscuits were so good and the star of the meal. We ate them so fast we didn't take a photo. I also really enjoyed my lemon drop martini. One of the best I've had over the years. The service was great. Never had to ask for anything and they stopped frequently to check-in without being in the way. She even went the extra mile of bringing me a dipping sauce for my sweet potato fries I wanted to try. The place is so pretty. I loved the blue and white vibe and how upscale it felt inside. There was a raw bar too on one side where you could watch them work and a wall of glass to the kitchen. I hear there is one in SLO so I will definitely be checking that out in the future.

Lure- Lure... *sigh First, Luciano was great! Top-tier! However... It's with a broken heart that I fear we must breakup. It's you- not me. I was at my local location (PR) Friday and Sunday had business in SB, I decided to give it a try. As a regular, I was heartbroken to know the HH menu changed. The options are far less. My favorites have been removed and the burger was taken off the menu, entirely. What?!!! WHY?!! While I'm sure CORPORATE has a plan, some of your loyal CUSTOMERS are not that happy. Just a bit of insight...

During our recent trip to SB, we found this place upon our arrival and the food here is absolutely delicious, and possibly our favorite place for the entire trip. 1) New England clam chowder: this was delicious, make sure to get the large because you'll want more - and they have free bread that goes great with dipping as well (5/5) 2) Charboiled oysters: they are a must-have as well; it comes with half a dozen and I'm sure you can order more. The parmesan cheese paired well with the melted butter, garlic and parsley. Need I say more? Yes, perhaps order a dozen instead haha (5/5) 3) Lobster ravioli: squid ink-striped ravioli with Maine lobster. Everything was very rich and flavorful, great for sharing, I highly recommend! (5/5) Everything honestly tasted so good. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Prices are reasonable, credit cards are accepted and there's plenty of parking
